About Us

The New York Chapter is a group of collectors who are interested in nineteenth century U.S. stamps and covers. Our chapter meets on the second Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:00 PM at the Collector’s Club, located at 22 East 35th Street, New York, NY.

At most meetings you can hear a very interesting presentation by a guest or member on a topic related to nineteenth century U.S. philately. We generally send out photocopies of some of the presentation material a short time after the meeting. On occasion we might have a “show and tell” discussion or ask our members to put together a one-frame exhibit of their favorite material.

Visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings. A group of members meets beforehand at 6:00 PM for a “Dutch treat” dinner at a nearby restaurant and all visitors are cordially invited to join us.

The chapter dues are only $15 per year, which covers the cost of printing and postage for the monthly mailings. If you would like to join our chapter, please contact Michael Heller by using the Contact Form
